Count the Kicks educates expectant parents on the importance of monitoring baby movements during the third trimester. Research has shown that nearly 30% of stillbirths can be prevented when parents are aware of changes in their baby’s movement patterns and take immediate action by contacting their healthcare provider.

This webinar is a vital opportunity to spread awareness and equip maternal health providers, doulas, community health workers, social service agencies, and other stakeholders (including doulas, WIC, EBHV, and lactation specialists) with the knowledge and tools to promote the initiative.

Please save the date on your calendars, and we will send out the meeting link closer to the event. Your participation in this initiative is crucial as we strive to make a significant impact on material and infant health in Tennessee.

Also, feel free to share this email with any service provider or stakeholder that you feel would be interested.

If you have questions about the Count the Kicks initiative, please reach out to Ashley Bridgman (Ashley.N.Bridgman@tn.gov) for more information.

Thank you for your continued dedication to your shared mission.

Best regards,

  TN Doulas Association
